JAMESTOWN – A major ice cream and frozen treat manufacturer is hosting a job fair today in Jamestown, complete with free ice cream for applicants.
Wells Enterprises, Inc. is looking for employees to work in their Dunkirk manufacturing facility.
The company is looking to fill year-round positions and new employees will also receive hiring bonuses.
Senior Manager of Talent Acquisition Lisa Newton tells WNY News Now that Wells is a fun company with a great culture, and that starting rates recently increased two dollars an hour.
“We’re hiring general packers, machine operators, supervisors. Maintenance and utilities technicians,” explains Newton. “So we have a whole variety of positions we’re looking to hire for. It’s the perfect time to come and join Wells.”
The company encourages all job seekers in the Jamestown area to come out to learn more at the Chautauqua Harbor Hotel from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
