CHAUTAUQUA LAKE – A local boating service company has donated a hydraulic lift to help the Sheriff’s Office Chautauqua Lake Patrol squad.

Rock of WNY, donated the hydraulic boat lift to the Marine Division of the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office.

The new lift comes in assistance of needing a place to dock a new patrol boat located at Long Point State Park.

The aluminum solar powered lift serves many purposes. It’s responsibilities include keeping the boat safe, clean, and also offers quick and easy deployment of the patrol vessels when needing to respond quickly to calls.

The Sheriff’s Office says that they would like to thank Rob and Kacie Hetrick of Rock of WNY for donating the use of this boat lift, as their frequent support of the Sheriff’s office greatly helps serve the citizens and community of Chautauqua County.
