Warren County Man To Stand Trial In Homicide Later This Month

WARREN – A 57-year-old Pennsylvania man will stand trial this month for his alleged role in a fatal shooting in Warren County, Pa. in March.

According to online court records obtained by WNY News Now, the trial for Hagger Brewer Sr. will begin in Warren County Court Sept. 27. Jury selection is scheduled to start Monday.











Brewer is charged with criminal homicide, third-degree murder and voluntary manslaughter.

Troopers were called to a residence in the 24000 block of Cold Springs Road in Spring Creek Township around 7:35 p.m. for a shooting.

State Police say at the scene they found 57-year-old Victor Vantassel III fatally shot. No further details regarding the incident were released.









Brewer is behind bars without bail in the Warren County Prison. He is being represented by Warren attorney Robert David Kinnear.
