ASHVILLE – An electrical issue is blamed for a blaze at a home in Ashville Friday night.

The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Fire Investigation Team responded to a Hoag Road in the Town of North Harmony to assist in determining the cause and origin of a residential fire.

Investigators determined the fire originated within the second-floor wall due to an electrical issue.

Two people were able to exit the house without injury, deputies said.
