JAMESTOWN – A 24-year-old Jamestown man will spend at least three years behind bars in connection with a June 2020 burglary.

The Chautauqua County District Attorney’s Office announced Friday that Braxton Achterberg was sentenced in Jamestown City Court to 3 ½ to 7-years indeterminate in state prison.

Achterberg, the DA’s office says, previously plead guilty in May to third-degree burglary.

He is currently booked in custody at the Chautauqua County Jail.
