HARRISBURG, Pa. (Erie News Now) – March for Life partnered with the Pennsylvania Family Institute to host the first-ever official Pennsylvania March for Life Monday in Harrisburg.
Participants rallied at the front steps of the State Capitol to call on legislators to protect unborn children, and they then marched around the building.
Speakers at the rally included House Speaker Bryan Cutler and Senate Majority Leader Kim Ward.
While the lawmakers said they’re pushing for legislation to restrict abortions in Pennsylvania, Gov. Tom Wolf said he plans to veto any anti-abortion legislation.
