Fall Foliage Nears Peak In Chautauqua County

MAYVILLE – Fall leaf color is nearing its peak in Chautauqua County.

According to the “I Love NY” fall foliage report, leaves are expected to be near peak this weekend with around 70 percent changing color.

Fall lovers can expect to see vivid shades of yellow, orange, and red in the southern and central parts of the county.

The north county however, specifically areas along Lake Erie, are behind and will likely peak in the coming weeks.

Nearby Cattaraugus County is considered to be past peak with area’s downstate hitting peak color this weekend as well.
