FREDONIA – A former adjunct professor at SUNY Fredonia is going to prison for stalking a TV news reporter from Buffalo.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office says that 63-year-old Paul Lubienecki will spend one year behind bars.

Lubienecki plead guilty to leaving harassing and threatening voicemails for a WKBW reporter in Western New York who was reporting on the Catholic Diocese of Buffalo.

Prosecutors said he used a TracFone with a phone number that appeared as “unknown” to leave the voicemails.

The sentencing is the result of an investigation by the FBI and East Aurora Police Department.
