“Keeping Each Other Warm” To Host Donation Drive Next Weekend

JAMESTOWN – A group looking to help keep residents warm this winter in Jamestown is kicking off their campaign with a donation drive next weekend.

“Keeping Each Other Warm” is working in partnership with the Jamestown Justice Coalition in hosting a donation drive on Saturday, November 27 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at SUNY JCC’s Curtis Street parking lot.

The group is accepting various sizes of new store-bought and handmade winter gear.





“Our excitement, as we kickoff the initiatives 8th season, is off the charts,” said Georgeanna Guiffrida Ribbing, founder and Executive Director. “The first donation drive of the season sets the pace for the rest of the winters activities and collection efforts.”

The initiative was launched in 2014 to help anyone in the community in need of winter clothing access the apparel. They do so by hanging cold weather gear are various locations throughout the community.
