WARREN (Erie News Now) – Pennsylvania State Police in Warren plan to conduct a sobriety checkpoint over the Thanksgiving holiday to deter driving under the influence, according to a news release.

The checkpoint will be set up over the weekend of Nov. 26-28. No location or other specifics were disclosed.

Troopers are asking anyone who plans on drinking alcohol to designate a sober driver. They are also reminding the public that prescription drugs can prevent a person from safely driving a vehicle.
