Planning Underway For Mayville Winter Festival In February

MAYVILLE (Erie News Now) – Planning is now underway for the 2022 Mayville Winter Festival, the Mayville-Chautauqua Community Chamber of Commerce announced Wednesday. 

It was previous called the President’s Day Weekend Winter Festival but has been renamed to Mayville Winter Festival. The committee still plans to hold it during President’s Day weekend. 

The tentative schedule of events includes: 











Friday, Feb. 18: Opening Ceremonies in the evening with the lighting of the castle along with the crowning of King and Queen. 

Saturday, Feb. 19: Cold Water Rescue, the Polar Plunge, a Chili Cookoff, the In-Crowd from 5-8 pm, fireworks at 8 pm, along with food trucks, carriage rides, snowmobile rides, ice fishing, vendors, and much more! 

Sunday, Feb. 20: The 2nd annual Winter Fest 5k, snowmobile rides and carriage rides, ice fishing, vendors and food trucks, and much more! 









The 2021 festival was canceled due to an uptick in COVID-19 cases.
