Dunkirk Man Jailed In Connection With Tuesday Afternoon Burglary

DUNKIRK – A 38-year-old man is behind bars after allegedly breaking into a house in Dunkirk on Tuesday.

City of Dunkirk Police allege Thomas Fafinski II gained entry to a house on Lakeshore Drive West around 1:40 p.m. via a back window.

A resident, police say, witnessed Fafinski climbing into the home and called 911. It is alleged he took property worth over $3,000.











Officers were able to establish a perimeter around house and later took the man into custody.

Fafinski is charged with two felonies: second-degree burglary and third-degree grand larceny.
