JAMESTOWN – A culinary staple in the Jamestown community that closed late last year will reopen temporarily for the Jamestown Holiday Parade on Saturday.

Taco Hut, located at the corner of Third and Spring Streets, will open around 5 p.m., according to parade coordinator Patrick Smeraldo who announced the news on WNY News Now’s daily show on Friday.

Grab and go Meat and Cheese Burritos will be on sale for $10. The operation is cash only and will run until all of the burritos sell out.

While the temporary reopening will be take out only, there is a new group pushing to continue Taco Hut’s legacy with logistical details still in the works.

The restaurant’s current owners previously told WNY News Now last December they were closing to “make renovations” before reopening for pickup and delivery.
