JAMESTOWN – Several airports across our region are slated to receive a financial boost as part of the recently passed Infrastructure Bill.

Congressman Tom Reed announced the news this week, saying one of the reasons he supported the act was to secure the “much needed funding” to improve local airports.

In Chautauqua County, both the Jamestown and Dunkirk air facilities are slated to receive $790,000 dollars.

Meanwhile, the Cattaraugus County airstrip in Olean is also expected to get $790,000 dollars.
