MINA – A Chautauqua County bridge project has been awarded nearly a million dollars in state funding.

The Town of Mina is receiving $998,000 to replace the French Creek culvert under Bailey Hill Road.

The money comes from New York’s BRIDGE NY program.

The effort helps fund projects to reduce flooding risks and improve the life of structures around the state.
