One Hurt Following Rollover Crash In Downtown Jamestown

JAMESTOWN – One woman was hurt following a vehicle rollover crash in Downtown Jamestown.

City of Jamestown Police tell WNY News Now a Toyota RAV4, operated by a woman in her 30s, struck a parked pickup truck along West Third Street near just before the intersection with Clinton Street around 2:10 p.m. on Wednesday.











The woman had to be extracted from the vehicle by members of the Jamestown Fire Department.

She was then taken to UPMC Chautauqua Hospital for medical treatment. Officers said she sustained some facial lacerations as a result of the collision, but did not immediately know her condition.

As for a cause of the crash, police say their investigation is continuing, however initially witnesses say she was traveling at a “normal rate” of speed for the downtown street.









The roadway between Clinton and West 4th Street was closed while personnel were on scene.
