Sheriff’s Office Seeks Man Who Went Missing Following Crash

LITTLE VALLEY – The Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office is asking for assistance in locating a missing man who disappeared following an early morning crash on Wednesday.

Sheriff Deputies report 61-year-old David Jeffery crashed his blue Ford F150 over a small embankment on Rock Springs Road in the Town of Ashford.

His vehicle was found by deputies around 3:30 in the morning, however Jeffery was not behind the wheel. Since then, a search has been underway and there remains no signs of Jeffery.


He is around 5’10” and 180 pounds. Investigators do not have a clothing description at this time.

Those with information in the case, or maybe saw someone matching his description walking in the area, are asked to call the Sheriff’s Office at (716) 938-2217.
