Jamestown Police Ask For Help In Finding Stolen Vehicle That Fled Officers

JAMESTOWN – Jamestown Police are asking for help in finding a stolen vehicle that fled offices on Thursday.

Police attempted to stop a black 2019 Mazda CX 5 on West 6th Street at Clinton Street around 1:40 p.m.

Two males inside refused to roll down their windows and cooperate with the patrol officers before fleeing the scene at a high rate of speed.


Detectives report the SUV was last seen fleeing southbound on Foote Avenue to Ivy Street, and then turning west bound on Cole Avenue.

Following an investigation, police say the vehicle was stolen out of Staten Island NYC. The vehicle has a New York State Plate bearing JMH-7363.

The department released a body camera screen-shot of driver and passenger.
