Small Plane Crashes Into Pennsylvania Neighborhood, 2 Dead

HILLTOWN, Pa. (Erie News Now) – A small plane crashed into a Pennsylvania neighborhood on Thursday, killing two people on board.

Aerials over the scene show the plane went down near a home.

No one on the ground was injured in the incident.

A resident said a propeller from the plane flew into his house. Shrapnel and debris also hit other nearby houses.

Officials say two people were onboard the plane. Their identities haven’t been released, but they are believed to both be male.

Hilltown Police Chief called the pilot a hero for getting the plane to an intersection and away from houses during the crash.

It’s unclear what caused the plane to go down, and an investigation is underway.
