Teen Charged After Allegedly Fleeing Police Following Strong-Arm Robbery

JAMESTOWN – A 16-year-old is facing charges after allegedly fleeing police following reported strong-arm robbery in Jamestown on Monday.

Jamestown Police Officers responded to the crime on the city’s east side around 4:40 p.m.











When officers arrived on scene, they found the teen fleeing in a vehicle.

Shortly after he was taken into custody and allegedly found with a loaded handgun.

He was charged with second-degree criminal possession of a weapon and later released with an appearance ticket because of New York’s raise the age law.
