
JAMESTOWN – A 34-year-old Jamestown man was arrested on a felony warrant Friday, following an addition investigation by police, detectives allegedly recovered drugs, cash and guns in his residence.
Those with the Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force and Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force spotted Nicholas Gaskin leaving 212 Price Street.
After making identification, Gaskin’s vehicle was pulled over and he was arrested for aggravated family offense, criminal contempt in the first degree, and menacing.
While searching his person, police allegedly recovered 15.5 grams of crack cocaine.
Later in the day, the Jamestown Police SWAT team raided his residence on Price Street, allegedly locating a loaded 9mm pistol, fentanyl, suboxone strips, suboxone pills, ammunition, scales, packaging materials, and money inside.

Gaskin was further charged with criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree, criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree, criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree and criminally using drug paraphernalia in the second degree.
he was held in the city jail on all of the above charges pending arraignment.
The Jamestown Police Department was assisted by the Jamestown SWAT Team, Jamestown Police K-9, Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force, Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office K-9, New York State Police K-9, Jamestown NY Fire Department, and the FBI – Federal Bureau of Investigation.
