Man Arrested Following Burglary At Jamestown Laundromat

JAMESTOWN – A 50-year-old man was arrested following a burglary at a local laundromat in Jamestown this week.

Jamestown Police Officers responded to the Center Ice Laundromat on West Third Street around 8 a.m. on Tuesday.

Following an investigation, it is alleged Clarence Kelwaski Jr. attempted to break into a change machine on site.











After failing to do so, Kelwaski Jr. allegedly broke into an office door and grabbed a security system before fleeing.

Officers were able to later catch up with Kelwaski Jr and he was taken into custody.

He was charged with burglary, among other crimes.
