DUNKIRK – Dunkirk Police are cracking down on vandalism of public parks.
The Police Department outlined various acts of vandalism in a report on Tuesday that took place over the past few years.
The damage ranges from spray paint graffiti at the city skate park, to vehicles intentionally doing donuts on the grass at a city park.

In the end, officers say the cleanup process hurts the community, waiting time and costs the taxpayers dollars to make repairs.
The Dunkirk Police Department says they are taking these investigations serious, and examining the crimes to the fullest extent of the law.
They will be making arrests in an effort to ensure voluntary compliance of park rules, and regulations, and to deter future criminal behavior.
