39-Year-Old Dunkirk Pleads Guilty To Sexually Assaulting A Child

MAYVILLE – A 39-year-old Dunkirk man has plead guilty to sexually assaulting a child.

The Chautauqua County District Attorney’s Office announced Aaron Gajewski’s plea to one count of first-degree course of sexual conduct against a child, a class B felony, on Friday.

While specific details of the case were not released, the crime did involve a youth under the age of 13 in the City of Dunkirk.

The original indictment in the case was filed last August, with the act taking place sometime in November 2017.

Gajewski, prosecutors report, will be sentenced by Judge David Foley at a later date to 10-years in state prison and 20-years of post-release supervision.

The conviction is a result of investigation by the Dunkirk Police Department.
