DUNKIRK – A 35-year-old Dunkirk man is behind bars after allegedly sending two women to the hospital following a violent domestic dispute.
City of Dunkirk Police responded to an address on Lake Shore Drive around 8 a.m. Monday for the alleged assault.
Following an investigation, it is alleged Zachary Scott hit two women in the head and face with a blunt object before fleeing the scene.
Scott was identified a short distance away by a passerby and later taken into custody.
He is charged with two counts of felony assault and was held at the Chautauqua County Jail.
The two victims were taken to Brooks Hospital by Dunkirk Fire and Rescue.
