One Taken To Hospital Following Crash On Jamestown’s Eastside

JAMESTOWN – One person was taken to UPMC Chautauqua Hospital following a single-vehicle crash on Jamestown’s eastside Tuesday night. 

The crash occurred around 7:30 p.m. on Buffalo Street at the intersection with Allen Street when a vehicle crashed into a utility pole along the side of the roadway. 


Fire dispatch reports indicate a medical emergency may have caused the collision, and that, the person was unresponsive when treated at the scene.  

Officers with the Jamestown Police Department tell WNY News Now their investigation into the incident is underway, and more information is expected to be released.

An updated condition of the vehicle’s driver was not immediately known by officers on scene.
