JAMESTOWN – JHS Students got their feet wet with a real business experience while walking the halls of the National Comedy Center.

Students from Jamestown High School who are enrolled in the JCC Introduction to Business, Computer Applications, or the Business Academy courses had the opportunity to visit the National Comedy Center in Jamestown recently.

Students were given a tour of the interactive 37,000 square foot venue and were able to speak to numerous business and technology officials on site as well.

JHS business teachers emphasized that “it is important that our students see real-life experiences of what they are learning in class.”

Rochelle Mole, National Comedy Center Vice President of Finance and Operations, shared her thoughts with the students on the center’s business plans, partnerships, and awards the center has earned.

“Will your business fit in your community? Is there synergy for economic development? What will the economic impact be for the community?,” Mole said in a statement.
