Jamestown Man Jailed Following Reported Altercation With A Handgun 

JAMESTOWN – A 21-year-old man is in police custody following a reported altercation with a handgun on the City of Jamestown’s southside Monday morning. 

Around 11:30 a.m. Jamestown Police were called to the area of Forest at Newland Avenues for a fight in the street involveing a handgun.  

Following a subsequent investigation, police arrested Kevaun Green who was allgedly found in possession of a loaded pistol.  











Green was taken into custody and charged with felony criminal possession of a weapon and obstructing governmental administration.  

The incident, police said, was also captured on Jamestown Police Traffic Camera that was used in this investigation.  

Green is currently in the city jail and is awaiting arraignment.
