High-Speed Police Pursuit Ends Near Frewsburg

JAMESTOWN, NY (WNY News Now) – A high-speed vehicle chase in the Jamestown area has come to an end near Frewsburg. 

Around noon on Tuesday, officers with the Jamestown Police Department attempted to stop a vehicle in the Willard Street area on the city’s eastside.


The car however failed to stop, and fled on Willard Street extension into the Town of Ellicott.

The vehicle pursuit then continued south to Falconer-Frewsburg road before the suspect vehicle stopped.

With weapons drawn, police took the vehicle’s occupants into custody.



Viewer video documented the arrest, made by two officers with the Jamestown Police Department.

Police scanner reports indicated the suspects may have been armed.

When reached for comment, the department’s Community Resource Officer told our newsroom more information on the incident is expected to be released later today.
