Jamestown Airport Receives Over One Million Dollars In Federal Funds

JAMESTOWN, NY (WNY News Now) – Over one million dollars in federal funding is coming to the Chautauqua County Airport in Jamestown.

U.S. Senators Chuck Schumer and Kirsten Gillibrand announced the news on Thursday.

Specifically, $1,021,500 dollars was allotted for perimeter fencing, while, $311,228 dollars has been allocated for snow removal equipment.


The money comes from the Federal Aviation Administration’s Airport Improvement Program.
