Driver Sought Following Hit-And-Run Crash In Jamestown

JAMESTOWN, NY (WNY News Now) – A search is underway in the Jamestown area for a driver accused of leaving the scene of a vehicle crash on the city’s northside this week.

The hit and run happened on Monday night around 7:15 p.m. on North Main Street just past the intersection with Fluvanna Avenue.











The victim in the crash shared images of the wreckage, which caused heavy damage to the rear of their SUV.

Witnesses believe a dark colored Chevy Silverado with a New York license plate was involved. The truck likely has front end damage.

Those with information are asked to call the Jamestown City Police Department at (716) 483-7536.









Luckily, no injuries were reported as a result of the accident. A six-month-old baby boy was in the victim’s vehicle at the time of the crash. His mother says everyone is sore, but doing okay.
