ERIE, Pa. (Erie News Now) – Thursday night football has a new home. Amazon has the exclusive rights to Thursday Night Football as part of an 11-year deal.

So, if you don’t have an Amazon Prime account, you will not be able to see the Pittsburgh Steelers game against the Cleveland Browns tonight.

The 11-year broadcasting deal was signed in 2021, but the Thursday Night Football franchise began airing on the platform last week.

This is the first time a streaming platform has been given a full-time deal to air NFL games.

Previously, the deal was split with a broadcast television network, most recently with Fox from 2018-2021.

CBS and NBC split the package for the previous two seasons.
