JAMESTOWN, NY (WNY News Now) – In a nail biting end of a football game, the Buffalo Bills suffered their first loss this season against the Miami Dolphins on Sunday. Fans in Jamestown however are remaining hopeful.

The Buffalo Bills started the game strong, but simply ran out of time just inside field goal range, ultimately losing to the Miami Dolphins 21-19.

Bills fan Michael Little was surprised with the ending score.

“I expected it actually to be a little higher score game,“ explained Little. “The Bills didn’t manage to clock very good in the end.”

Fans see many reasons for the loss, some of which include the foreign and intense heat the team had to deal with, previous injuries that the Bills had suffered, and an apparent injury to Quarterback Josh Allen.

“I think so, it had to of,” stated Little. “Diggs looks like he’s banged up, I saw them working on Josh Allen’s thumb.“

The season is still in its early stage with the Bills game score now being 2-1, there is still hope for a fortunate season, even with all of the player injuries.

“I really don’t know, we’re just going to have to see who can come back,“ explained Little. “They should play better next week. That was a close division game, we should be alright next week.”

The Buffalo Bills will face off against the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday, October 2 at 1 p.m.
