JAMESTOWN, NY (WNY News Now) – Over 500 people lined up for the chance to meet a popular Buffalo Bills player who visited Jamestown on Tuesday.

Buffalo Bills Defensive Tackle Ed Oliver visited DaveWarren Auto Group as part of a promotional meet-and-greet.

For over two hours Oliver met fans from the Jamestown area, taking pictures and signing various items, from standard jerseys, footballs, and helmets, to more obscure things like dolls, shoes, and a real life baby.

Previously off due to an injury, Oliver was excited to meet his fans locally.

“These are probably the fans that make the Bills mafia,“ explained Oliver. “It was just a great atmosphere to kids. I had seen all kinds of little league teams, Westside and Northside, Eastside, all the different teams coming out and just showing their support. It meant a lot.”

In the end, Oliver is excited to get back on the field and help the Buffalo Bills continue what the player says is expected to be a successful season.
