NEW YORK, NY (Newsource) – Former President Donald Trump has filed a lawsuit in Florida trying to block access to records from the trust that owns the trump organization.

New York Attorney General Letitia James is seeking the records.

Trump’s civil suit was filed hours after a New York Judge denied his bid to move James’ $250 million dollar lawsuit against him to another division of New York’s State Court.

That suit also targets Trump’s eldest children and others.

The former President argues the trust is protected by privacy rights in the Florida constitution.

James and Trump’s teams are due in a New York Court Thursday for the first hearing since the filing of the lawsuit alleging fraud by the trumps and their business.
