Amy Poehler Joins National Comedy Center’s Advisory Board of Directors

JAMESTOWN, NY (Erie News Now) — Amy Poehler has joined the National Comedy Center’s Advisory Board of Directors.

The actress, writer, producer and director joins a roster of creative talent who helps guide the Center’s mission to present the vital story of comedy.

Poehler is filling the Advisory Board seat formerly held by talent manager George Shapiro, who passed away earlier this year.











Amy Poehler said she is honored to be joining the National Comedy Center’s Advisory Board.

Poehler is known for her eight years as a cast member and writer on Saturday Night Live, and for her time as a lead actor, producer and writer on Parks and Recreation.

The Comedy Center has more than 50 interactive exhibits and immersive experiences.
