JAMESTOWN, NY (WNY News Now) – A Jamestown woman has been charged following an incident that led to an accident involving a school bus Thursday morning.

Officers were called to the location of a motor vehicle accident on Route 394 in the Town of North Harmony around 8:30 a.m. Thursday morning.

Officers allege that 29-year-old Jamestown resident Tori Carlson was driving unsafely during winter conditions, that caused her to drive into the intersection of Route 394 and Bly Hill Road causing a Jamestown school bus to strike the vehicle.

Upon investigation officers found that Carlson was driving too fast for winter conditions.

Carlson was charged with Failure to Yield Right of Way, Speed Unreasonable, having a suspended registration, having an unregistered motor vehicle, and operating a vehicle without insurance.
