Jamestown Man Douses Person In Gasoline, Threatens To Light Them On Fire

JAMESTOWN, NY (WNY News Now) — A Jamestown man is accused of dousing a person in gasoline and threatening light them on fire. 

Officers with the Jamestown Police Department responded to the area of West 7th and Washington Streets around 1:40 p.m. on Monday afternoon for a disorderly person call. 











Nathan Strickland was accused of dousing a person in gasoline and then threatened to light them on fire. 

The 42-year-old was arrested a short distance away from the scene and taken to Jamestown City Jail without incident.  

The department said Strickland was charged with second-degree menacing and held in custody pending arraignment in the case.
