Felony Charges Lodged Following Stabbing

DUNKIRK, NY (WNY News Now) — A 29-year-old man is behind bars with felony charges following a stabbing in northern Chautauqua County over the weekend. 

According to City of Dunkirk Police, the stabbing took place 8 a.m. on Saturday at 37 North Ocelot Street in Dunkirk.  

Following an investigation, David Texidor was arrested and charged with second-degree assault and first-degree burglary. He has since been remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail on $50,000 bail. 











The male victim, police said, suffered serious injuries and was transported from the scene to Hamot Medical Center in Erie, Pa. for treatment.
