Cassadaga Wind Farm Project Reviewed

CASSADAGA, NY (WNY News Now) — New York State’s Public Service Commission is reviewing the Cassadaga Wind farm project in Chautauqua County.

The regulatory agency approved compliance filings for the project on Thursday.











The 126-megawatt project consists of wind turbines in the Towns of Arkwright, Charlotte, Cherry Creek, and Stockton.

The project review routinely takes place following one year of commercial operation.

The Commision approved the site’s filings, and also, reviewed the project’s decommissioning and restoration plans.
