JAMESTOWN, NY (WNY News Now) – A 21-year-old Jamestown resident is accused of failing to pay his cab fare before turning himself in to police for an outstanding arrest warrant.

On Thursday Andrew Webber turned himself in to officers with the Jamestown Police Department for arrest warrants issued by City Court.

However, before turning himself in, Webber had called a local cab company to arrange transportation from an address outside of the city.

As Webber was being taken into custody on his warrants, it was found that he allegedly tried to evade a local cab driver whom he failed to pay.

Webber was additionally charged with theft of services for failing to pay his cab fare while trying to turn himself in on his warrants.
