CLYMER, NY (Erie News Now) – The snow that fell this past weekend helped out the trails and routes at the Peek’n Peak Ski Resort, and just in time for their spring fest.
“So we had a pretty big turnout for spring festival this year. It was great that we were able to get the snowstorm coming through that to refresh the snow surface and make it a lot less like spring. But over the past weekend, we’ve had live bands every day as well as the cardboard box race and pond skimming event happening yesterday.” Snow Sports School Manager Ryan Moyer said.
The weekend long event started on Friday, and ended with a DJ party this Sunday. Moyer shared one of the highlights of the event.
“Just all these families and everyone being able to come out and enjoy spring skiing and be able to have a fun time as a family unit” Moyer said.
And even though the Spring Fest is over, the peek is still open for regulars and newcomers.
“It’s never too late to learn and we’re still running lessons so if anything, now’s the time to come out and support for the winter time,” Moyer said.
