Water Main Repairs Underway In Jamestown

JAMESTOWN, NY (WNY News Now) – Work is underway to repair a water main break on Jamestown’s westside.

Around 10:30 a.m. Monday an underground water main serviced by the Jamestown Board of Public Utilities broke at the intersection of West Third Street Fairview Avenue.











Crews have since been dispatched to replace the water line.

As a result of the rupture, widespread discolored water is likely on the west side of Jamestown and in West Ellicott for the next 24 to 48 hours.
