Jamestown Woman Allegedly Drives Drunk, Causes Injury Accident

JAMESTOWN, NY (WNY News Now) – An allegedly intoxicated Jamestown woman is accused of causing an injury accident on the city’s northside.

On Sunday night the Jamestown Police Department responded to a motor vehicle accident with injury.











Following an investigation it was found that Kathie Potts was allegedly driving while intoxicated.

The 59-year-old, officers say, crossed the middle lane and struck another vehicle.

Occupants of the oncoming vehicle suffered an injury as a result of the collision.









Potts was arrested and charged with DWI and moved from lane unsafely. She was later released with an appearance ticket. Further charges are pending in the case.
