FREDONIA, NY (WNY News Now) – A Florida man was arrested following a drive-by shooting on Interstate-90.

New York State Police announced the arrest of Ervin Stubbs on Wednesday afternoon.

While driving a truck on I-90 early in the morning Wednesday, the 34-year-old is accused of shooting a person in a separate vehicle while traveling eastbound in Pennsylvania.


The victim, a 42-year-old man from Detroit, MI, was met by EMS and troopers at the Fredonia-Dunkirk exit on I-90.

He was transported and treated at Erie County Medical Center for a non-life threatening injuries, a single gunshot wound to his knee.

Stubbs was located after the incident and arrested at the Flying J Truck Stop in Pembroke, NY.











He faces charges including felony criminal possession of a weapon and fugitive from justice out of Pennsylvania State Police.

Stubbs was arrested and processed at the State Police Batavia barracks. He will later be arraigned and transported to PA State Police for additional charges on a warrant extradition.
