74-Year-Old Falconer Man Accused Of Driving Drunk Following Crash

ELLICOTT, NY (WNY News Now) – A 74-year-old Falconer man is accused of driving while intoxicated following a motor vehicle crash in the Town of Ellicott.

Last week deputies with the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office and officers with Town of Ellicott Police responded to the area of Peck Settlement and Carlberg Roads in the Town of Ellicott for a reported vehicle off the road.

The vehicle was located, and the operator identified as Samuel Oneal.


Through investigation it was determined that Oneal was allegedly operating the vehicle while intoxicated.

Oneal was arrested and charged with dwi, dwi per se, fail to keep right, speed not reasonable/prudent, consumption alcohol in a motor vehicle.

He was transported to a station for processing and later released with tickets to appear in the Town of Ellicott court at a later date.
