SALAMANCA, NY (WNY News Now) – A Salamanca man is facing felony charges after he was allegedly caught with child pornography.

New York State Police announced Tuesday criminal charges against Myron Bialaszewski.

The 61-year-old was issued an appearance ticket for possessing a sexual performance by a child, a class E-felony.

While details of the case are slim, troopers said the task force investigating Bialaszewski spectiifically targets individuals who allegedly attempt to lure children to meet for sex, or those disseminating child sexual abuse material.

Known as the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force Program, the initiative helps state and local law enforcement agencies develop an effective response to technology-facilitated child sexual exploitation and Internet crimes against children.
