FORESTVILLE, NY (WNY News Now) – A weekend fire is under investigation in Chautauqua County.
On Saturday night around 7 p.m. the Forestville Fire Department and mutual aid responded to a residential fire on Center Street in Forestville.
Once the fire was extinguished, the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Fire Investigation team responded.
Officials believe the fire originated within a second-floor crawl space. However, as of Monday the cause is still under investigation.
Two adults and four children were displaced due to the fire.
No injuries have been reported.
