GERRY, NY (WNY News Now) – Two people died during a early morning house fire in southern Chautauqua County.
On Sunday around 5:51AM, the Gerry Fire Department, several mutual aid fire departments and the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office responded to a residential structure fire in the Town of Gerry.
Two residents of the home, Jeffrey and Judith Church, were found deceased inside the the home by Fire Department personnel.
The Chautauqua County Fire Investigation Team responded to the scene to conduct an origin and cause fire investigation.
At this time the investigation is on going.
