BUFFALO, NY (WNY News Now) – The man who pleaded guilty to two separate fatal vehicle crashes has also pleaded guilty in federal court for weapons charges.
U.S. Attorney Trini E. Ross announced Wednesday that Randal Rolison admitted to being a felon in possession of firearms and ammunition.
The charge carries a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
Rolison had also pleaded guilty to Second Degree Manslaughter for the death of 15-year-old Alexis “Lexy” Hughan on New Year’s Eve 2021. He also pleaded guilty to Aggravated Vehicular Homicide that killed 71-year-old South Dayton resident Linda Kraemer less than a year later.
As a part of that plea, the local weapons charges against Rolison were dropped.
Sentencing for the federal charges is scheduled for December 19, 2023, before U.S. District Judge John Sinatra.
